Thelemapedia:Awards
From Thelemapedia
Thelemapedia awards are given out to Thelemapedia editors in recognition of various efforts of excellence. Awards can be presented by any editor to any other editor at their discretion. Although there are no policies regarding how one presents awards, here are some guidelines:
- They are generally posted on an editor's userpage or talk page, often at the bottom
- The presenter should identify him/her self
- Give some explanation of why they are getting the award
- Awards are often given in the format of an image with a caption (see below)
- An example is on the right
The code for this example is:

It should be noted that the following should not be the limit of Thelemapedia awards. Editors are invited to create new ones that honor fellow members in various ways.

Star of Thelemapedia
The Star of Thelemapedia is the general, all-purpose award of excellence. Every editor can award it to any other editor, pretty much for any reason they believe qualifies. It is expected to be awarded liberally.

Thoth Award for Excellence in Writing
Just as it sounds, the Thoth Award for Excellence in Writing (or "Thoth Award" for short), is given to editors who display an amazing talent for stringing words together in a way that makes a topic clear, easy to understand, and enjoyable to read.

Khephra Award of Diligence
The Khephra Award of Diligence is given to those who consistantly contribute a copious amount of material without sacrificing quality.

Hawk-Headed Award
The Hawk-Headed Award is presented to those who who above and beyond in defending Thelemapedia from those who wish it harm, whether it be attempted fraud, speaking falsely against the site or its members, or vandalism.

Harpocrates Award for Exceptional Newcomer
The Harpocrates Award for Exceptional Newcomer is, like it sounds, presented to new editors who show a talent and spirit beyond their brief experience.
